For me, who had no knowledge of investment, this book conveyed the appeal of dollar investment easily and fun. Especially for me, as a full-time housewife with free time, foreign investment became a new challenge and opportunity.

Foreign Investment Preparation Process

To start investing, the first thing I needed was to open a securities account. I prepared for dollar exchange by using the preferential exchange rate event held by Kiwoom Securities. During this process, I experienced the procedures from event application to exchange through the Youngwoongmun S# app, which gave me a sense of accomplishment along with vague expectations, as it was my first time.

When you first enter the Youngwoongmun s# app, press the menu button at the bottom left.

Then, press the event with the gift box icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

You'll see various ongoing events, scroll down a bit and you'll see the preferential exchange rate event. Press it to apply, and you'll get a 95% preferential exchange rate immediately.

From Dollar Investment to Yen Investment

With the current rise in dollar prices, I decided to switch to yen investment rather than dollar investment. Even though it's a small amount, I've been saving my investment money every month and exchanging it to take my first step in investment. Life is all about timing! Investment is also all about timing!

It was very interesting to apply what I learned from the book to the actual investment process, finding the link between theory and practice. I also plan to further explore related books to acquire additional knowledge about foreign investment.
