My family's favorite
Chinese restaurant I'd like to introduce.
Since moving here, we've tried
ordering delivery from various Chinese restaurants and eating there as well, and
we've settled on this restaurant and
are regular customers now 😉

We usually order delivery,
but if you go there in person, parking is convenient
and the dining area is quite spacious.
It's a good place for gatherings and for taking children.
Last weekend, we had dinner
with food delivered from Sutarwon.
We ordered jajangmyeon, seafood jjampong, and a small tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork).
The best thing about Sutarwon is
that the delivery is incredibly fast 👍.
The tangsuyuk
is a thick-cut style with lots of meat.
My elementary school-aged child, my husband, and I all love it,
so it's always on our order list.
Even though it's a small portion, the quantity is quite generous.
The jajangmyeon comes with the noodles and sauce served separately,
and there's always a lot of sauce leftover, which I find a bit wasteful.
So, before mixing the noodles,
we transfer the sauce to a Lock & Lock container and
freeze it.
Later, we use it to make jajangbap (jajangmyeon sauce over rice).
When you thaw and stir-fry it,
it becomes a delicious jajang sauce with a smoky flavor,
and it's a great way to enjoy it 👍.
This time, we tried the seafood jjampong for the first time,
and it was packed with abalone and shrimp, along with a variety of other seafood.
The spicy broth with a smoky flavor was incredibly rich.
I was feeling a bit under the weather with a cold,
but this soup really woke me up.
At Sutarwon,
my husband's favorite
gyoza (dumplings) were also given to us as a service.
They are handmade gyoza, limited to 50 servings a day,
and it's rare to find Chinese restaurants that make their own gyoza these days.
At Sutarwon, they use minced meat and vegetables to create
crispy, freshly fried gyoza.
It's my husband's absolute favorite gyoza place 😀.
It's conveniently located near Yeongtong Station
and is also within walking distance from Mangpo Station.
It's also close to my house,
so we often walk there, eat, and then take a stroll back home.
When we have guests over,
we've tried dishes like shrimp dishes, nurungji tang (crispy rice soup), and white jjampong, and
everyone has said they were delicious.
So, it's become a popular choice for entertaining guests at our home 👍.
If you're in the neighborhood
or haven't found a good Chinese delivery place yet,
I highly recommend giving Sutarwon a try 🍜.
